In our line, dangerous goods are mainly divided into nine categories and sub-categories, on the basis of the specific chemical characteristics producing the risk.
Packing Groups
Packaging Groups are utilised for the purpose of determining the degree of protective packaging required for the transportation of dangerous goods.
Group I: Danger is heightened. Requires the most protective packaging. Certain combinations of various classes of dangerous goods on the same container or vehicle is forbidden if the goods falls under Group I.
Group II: Medium level of danger.
Group III: Least danger amongst regulated goods, and requires the least protective packaging within the transportation.
